Healthy Snacks


It's good to eat healthy snacks when between meals. Remember staying healthy is a full time job. If time permits we must learn to prepared our own snacks. This post is for busy parents who may not have time to prepared snacks for their kids. The parents who are struggling to come up with new and exciting snack ideas for their little ones. I have compiled a list of recipes that can be helpful in your search to provide healthy snacks. According to Dr. Susan Bowerman director of the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition. "When done right, (snacking) keeps your energy levels up and gives you more opportunities to get in all your nutritional needs."

1.  Cashew - Strawberry Crunch

Whole wheat crackers
Fresh strawberries
Peanut Butter
Cashew nuts

2. Pineapple and Pistachios  

As my great aunt would say to me health is wealth. Be aware of what you feed your kids and yourself. Practice eating healthy, your body would apprciate it
